Peopleworks provides professional business development services in the Wellington region, managing clients’ projects and providing contractors and consultants to deliver the results.

Like many consulting businesses Peoplework’s consultants work onsite with clients who are invoiced for the hours worked. This means that consultants need to record time and have the client approve those hours before being billed.

Managing Director John Rainey-Smith used MYOB in his previous business but decided to switch to FlexiTime after a recommendation from an associate at XERO (accounting software). He is upbeat about the change and the way it has streamlined his business processes.

It’s fantastic, a great product, it really takes a lot of the tedious tasks out of the process.

John is particularly impressed with the online aspect of FlexiTime which came in handy during a recent stint overseas.

Peopleworks is a relatively young business and John sees FlexiTime as being an integral part of his plan as it grows and takes on more employees and clients.

Because FlexiTime is software as a service (SaaS), John is able to implement it in his business without any capital outlay on computer equipment and without the need to install and upgrade his software.

We use the FlexiTime billing facility to invoice clients because it just simplifies things. It won’t really matter how many clients I have, the procedure stays the same, staff and clients can log in and access their timesheets and approve time, easy.
